A Russian girl tells of what happened to her after she applied to marry President Putin

Yulia Shilova, from the Russian city of Ivanovo, spoke on the “Russia 1” channel about what happened to her after she applied to marry Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to that city last year.

“He (Putin) didn’t call me,” Yulia Shilova told “Russia 1”, but said that she “had a lot of fans after that,” and none of them could win her heart, she said.

She described President Putin as “strong-willed, resolute, and strong in character.” She said she always liked it.

It is reported that last year, the girl approached President Putin, during a business trip to Ivanovo, and during his visit to some places, and gave him two pictures of herself with her phone number and brief information about her.

She wrote on the back of one of the photos her name and town, and also asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to marry her.
