Britain has announced that it will launch a new phase of the Corona vaccination campaign for those between the ages of 65 and 69, as it approaches its goal of vaccinating 15 million people.

From Monday, vaccination will begin for people between the ages of 65 and 69 and the “medically weakest group,” according to the NHS public health service announced on Sunday.

Health Minister Matt Hancock said, “The vaccination program continues at an unprecedented speed, and at a time when we are on the verge of giving the vaccine to all people belonging to the first four priority groups by Monday, we are determined to support this momentum by increasing it even more.”

According to the latest numbers published on Saturday, 14,556,827 people received the first dose and 534869 people received the second dose of the vaccine, with the number of people vaccinated until Friday being included.
