An Israeli Mossad agent revealed the role she played in Egypt during the Yom Kippur War, through a report broadcast by Israeli Channel 12.

“Tamar”, who was working as a soldier in the Operations Division known as “Caesarea”, said that they were trained and examined in order to be able to hide their Israeli and Jewish identities, and to grow them in “the most dangerous countries hostile to Israel.”

Noting that her bosses once decided to test her compliance with orders, she said, “I had a friend and they asked me to leave him. They had to test me.” She added that she complied and did, noting, “I hated it a lot, but I was determined to succeed.”

During that period, she was sent to Egypt, which was at that time the most dangerous hostile country to the State of Israel, during the October 1973 war, when she was 22 years old.

One of Tamar’s tasks in Egypt was to go to an Egyptian army parade, where Israeli tools taken from the Sinai front during the battles were shown, some of them stained with blood stains from Israeli soldiers.

She pretended to be visiting the exhibition, smiling at everyone on the surface and expressing her happiness, but she was in pain from inside as she recorded and examined the remains of the Israelis inside the tanks as well as the rest of the tools, to reach the Mossad later.
