A member of the World Health Organization delegation, currently in Wuhan, China, announced important discoveries within the investigation aimed at revealing the origin of the emerging corona virus. And the American “Bloomberg” agency reported today, Sunday, that the British zoologist residing in the United States, Peter Dazak, who is one of 10 independent experts within the delegation, refuted in an interview he had with her by applying “Zoom” the “laboratory hypothesis” according to which the SARS-CoV virus is -2 A leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which studies coronaviruses that trace their origin to bats.

It was possible for global health experts to visit this institute and meet its official, who has been working for decades to collect samples of these viruses and study them, and to see the results of this research and the first cases of corona.

Dazak pointed to the importance of experts’ visit to the Wuhan Seafood Market, which is a place where the virus may mutate from animals to humans.

The scientist explained that subsequent research revealed cases of infection that occurred before the outbreak of the virus in the market, which refutes the hypothesis that it was the origin of Corona, but international investigators were able to discover “important evidence” that sheds light on the market’s role in the pandemic.

Dazak said that the members of the delegation were divided into three groups working to study the potential role of animals in the emergence of Corona, ways of spreading infection, and environmental samples, adding that the mission’s efforts are now focused on collecting these discoveries.

The scientist pointed out that “experts now know what they did not know at the beginning, and this is that there are many patients who did not show symptoms of infection at all or these symptoms were mild, stressing that work is underway to determine the number of these patients in China and the date of their infection.”

The researcher expressed his hope that this investigation will become a focal point in efforts to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and prevent new pandemics in the future.

Dazak said that viruses originate in complex ways, and following this process is a difficult task that may take a long time, and he continued: “What I have seen confirms to me that there are some real indications that will shed light on what happened, and I hope that we can provide a solid explanation at the conclusion of this visit.” .

The researcher expects to announce the main results of the mission’s visit to China before the experts leave the country on February 10.
