Turkey..A earthquake strikes Izmir

An earthquake measuring 4.1 degrees on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Karaburun in the state of Izmir, western Turkey.

In a statement, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Department (AFAD) stated that the earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea, at a depth of 7.08 km below the surface of the earth.

And last Monday, the Turkish Karaburun region witnessed 4 tremors, whose strength ranged between 4.7 and 5.1.
