Lavrov in his first contact with Blinken: Moscow is ready to normalize relations with Washington

During the first telephone conversation with his American counterpart Anthony Blinken, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed his country’s readiness to normalize bilateral relations with the United States.

Speaking about the imprisoned Russian dissident Alexei Navalny, Lavrov said it was necessary to “respect” the law and the judicial system in Russia, according to the statement.
