The famous singer and music producer, Sophie Zion, a former Grammy nominee and a pioneer in the field of pop music, was killed in a climbing accident in Greece.
Her business manager confirmed to the British Guardian newspaper, that 34-year-old Sophie died around four o’clock in the morning in Athens, after she had a sudden accident, calling on various media outlets to respect her family and her privacy and to deal with the private nature of this news with sensitivity.
She added, “Singer Zion has been a pioneer in the field of electronic music, and she is one of the most influential artists of the past decade. Not only for musical production but also for the mission and vision that has been achieved.”
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Sophie started her music career in 2013 and is best known as one of the composers of Madonna’s single “Beach Aime Madonna” in 2015.
