Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji participated in the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan on Tuesday in Doha.
Elkhereiji stressed the importance of the forum to deepen cooperation and exchange views on the challenges facing the region and the world.
He also renewed Saudi Arabia’s call to the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel’s aggression, the collective punishment of Palestinians, and to end the siege of the Gaza Strip to enable delivery of humanitarian aid without obstacles.
He reiterated the Kingdom’s deep concern over the military escalation in the Middle East and called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to spare the region and its people the dangers of war.
