Saudi deputy FM receives Spanish foreign minister

Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji received Spanish State Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs Diego Martinez Belio in Riyadh on Sunday.

The two sides discussed relations between their countries and ways to strengthen them. They also talked about regional and international issues of mutual interest, the Foreign Ministry said on X.

Spain’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Jorge Hevia Sierra was also present.

In a separate meeting, Elkhereiji met African Union Commission Chairman Moussa Faki. The officials discussed issues related to the African continent.
