Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa expecting first child

Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al-Hussein are ready to welcome their first child.

The news of the pregnancy was announced by the Jordanian royal family in a statement.

“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first baby this summer,” it read.

Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa were married in June last year at Zahran Palace in Amman.

The princess, a Saudi architect, sparked a social media frenzy with her wedding outfits. For the ceremony she wore a classic white gown by Elie Saab, Lebanese fashion designer to the stars, before changing into a white, cap-sleeve ballgown by Italian label Dolce & Gabbana for the reception.
