AlUla library showcases Saudi Arabia’s rich literary culture

AlUla Public Library is a knowledge oasis for both the local community and international visitors, catering to their intellectual, cultural, and artistic pursuits.

Situated in AlUla’s Al-Jadidah Arts District, the library boasts a vast collection of books in several languages, suitable for all ages.

According to the Saudi Press Agency report, the library’s sections are meticulously curated, and offer a wealth of cultural and literary works, including astronomy and captivating children’s stories.

Throughout the year, the library hosts engaging activities, events, and seminars featuring prominent writers, readers, and intellectuals.

With a focus on fostering knowledge and learning, AlUla Public Library aims to elevate literacy, education, skills, and discovery, the SPA said.

The collection encompasses literary treasures representing the Kingdom’s rich literary scene, alongside a diverse selection of translated works. It also contains dedicated spaces for creative exploration and cultural exchange.

For added convenience, the library houses a cafe where visitors can unwind with beverages and light refreshments.

This space is particularly popular during Ramadan for its reading sessions of novels, held on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
