The Kingdom’s media minister met representatives of the Kuwait Journalists Association on Thursday to discuss the role of the media in promoting good relations between the two countries.
“Saudi-Kuwaiti political relations are at their best levels in history and this is reflected in the two countries in the field of media training between them,” Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary said during a seminar at the Kuwait National Library, organized by the KJA in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Media.
He said he was happy to meet and listen to Kuwait’s media leaders and stressed the importance of good media and political relations.
“The media sector in Saudi Arabia is one of the attractive sectors and the ministry’s role is to support the creation of jobs in it,” he said.
Al-Dossary also announced the signing of an agreement between the Saudi Press Agency and the Kuwait News Agency to exchange news and expertise.
