Saudi minister, UK secretary of state for culture discuss cooperation

Saudi Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met Lucy Frazer, UK secretary of state for culture, media and sport, during an official visit to the UK, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

The two ministers discussed aspects of cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the UK. Prince Badr said that the Kingdom is keen to continue developing cultural ties with the UK.

They also discussed ways to cooperate with leading cultural institutions, including museums and heritage sites, by hosting exhibitions and encouraging the lending of artifacts.

Prince Badr and Frazer also discussed implementing joint Saudi-British programs for artists, including art residencies.
