Arab and Islamic ambassadors’ reception honors Brazilian President Lula

Saudi Ambassador to Brazil Faisal Ghulam participated in a reception held by the ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries in honor of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

On behalf of the ambassadors of the Arab and Islamic countries, Ghulam delivered a speech in which he reviewed the developing relations between the Arab and Islamic countries and Brazil.

He also discussed the humanitarian conditions in Gaza and the importance of an immediate ceasefire, and thanked the president for Brazil’s position concerning the events in the Gaza Strip.
