The crown princes of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain chaired the third meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council on Wednesday.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa after he arrived at King Khalid International Airport earlier on in the day, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Bahrain’s crown prince affirmed that the council has bolstered bilateral relations and said the third meeting is a testament to joint commitment to further coordination and cooperation.
He noted the progress and development witnessed by the Kingdom, highlighting achievements that have strengthened Saudi Arabia’s leadership regionally and internationally, Bahrain News Agency reported.
A number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed in the fields of energy, finance, financial markets, culture, education, administrative development, health, television, radio, and news.
The next council meeting will be held in Bahrain.
