The fourth International Conference on Education in the Arab World: Problems and Solutions will be held in Jeddah on Saturday.

Organized by the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority, the forum will be attended by academics, researchers and graduate students from the Kingdom, GCC and other Arab nations, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani, the conference president, said that 20 research papers have been submitted highlighting challenges and advancements in education.

He said that over the past three years the event has seen a significant body of research reviewed and evaluated by education experts.

Al-Zahrani said the conference will have six sessions covering a range of topics including the use of robots and AI in education, trends in academic leadership, preparation for academia, and professional development.

He added that the conference will have two training workshops — “Models of Automated Education and Their Applications” and “Teaching Future Skills.”
