The beauty championship for purebred Arabian horses starts on Jan. 25 at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Arabian Horse Festival.
The event, which is sponsored by the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation, features more than 200 elite Arabian horses. The horses and their 111 owners, from nine different countries, will participate in the three-day event at the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center in Riyadh.
A select group of horses will compete for the championship titles in the international festival, which holds the highest ranking in Arabian horse beauty shows worldwide, offering substantial monetary prizes.
The championship is held under the supervision of the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations, and witnesses a large and distinguished turnout of enthusiasts from around the world.
Salah Al-Ali, the general director of the festival, has confirmed that the event’s administration is ready to receive the participating horses. He has also expressed his keen interest in preparing the festival in a way that befits Saudi Arabia and reflects the values and traditions of the Kingdom.
