Balad Beast festival to make highly anticipated return to Jeddah

MDLBEAST’s Balad Beast festival is set to make its highly anticipated return to Jeddah’s historic Al-Balad area for its second edition.

Taking place Jan. 18-19, the festival will feature an impressive lineup of over 60 artists performing across four stages, all nestled amid the area’s stunning architecture.

Performances by Ty Dolla $IGN, Wu-Tang Clan, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Russ, and DJ Snake will be held, while the festival promises to be a captivating experience, blending the rich history of the UNESCO heritage site with modern artistry.

The unique setting of Al-Balad will allow visitors to enjoy a seamless integration of ancient heritage with contemporary creativity. Spectacular light shows and visual arts will transport attendees on a visual journey through the past, present, and future.

To ensure the preservation of the historic sites, MDLBEAST conducted sound tests and strategically placed stages to minimize any impact on the buildings. The area will be transformed into a vibrant and mesmerizing spectacle, with colorful patterns projected onto its iconic structures.

Balad Beast joins a lineup of unique venue events organized by MDLBEAST, further solidifying the company’s commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences in iconic locations. Previous events include Kokub in AlUla, ERGA held in Riyadh, Tahlia at the desalination factory in Jeddah, and FOWG at King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.
