4,167

The Social Development Bank has supported more than 40 families to enable them to participate in the Buraidah Date Festival in the Qassim region of the Kingdom.

The festival was organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and as part of its support initiative, the bank equipped the families’ sites and provided them with the required licenses.

It also gave training courses for individuals interested in marketing, selling, and supply, among other fields.

The bank contributes to developing local products inspired by the region’s nature. It also aims to establish a vibrant community and help the Kingdom’s economic renaissance.

The Buraidah Date Festival helps to put the spotlight on local heritage through events and activities, focusing on popular dishes made by productive families, in addition to games, sculptures, and handicrafts.
