The Crown Prince held a session of talks with the Prime Minister of Japan, during which talks were exchanged on bilateral relations, especially aspects of cooperation in the economic, trade, investment and cultural fields, and ways to enhance cooperation in accordance with the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, in addition to reviewing views on a number of regional and international issues. and efforts made thereon. After the talks session, the Crown Prince met, in the presence of the Japanese Prime Minister, heads of companies and business owners in Japan. The Japanese Prime Minister started from Saudi Arabia his first visit to the Middle East region since his appointment in 2021, and he will later head to the UAE and Qatar. The Saudi-Japanese round table meeting was held earlier Sunday, in the presence of the Japanese Prime Minister and Minister of Investment Khaled Al-Falih, with the participation of representatives of the Japanese government and more than 44 leading Japanese companies.
26 memoranda of understanding and agreements
During the meeting, they reviewed and studied opportunities to enhance investment partnerships between the two countries in a wide range of sectors, such as clean energy, clean chemicals, mining, health care, and digital technologies. The meeting also culminated in the signing of 26 memorandums of understanding and investment agreements.
