Saud bin Nayef delivers 50 housing units to the families of the Al-Bir Association in the Eastern Province

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Birr Association in the region, handed over, at the emirate’s headquarters today, 50 housing units for the beneficiaries of the association’s services from the most needy families, in addition to the housing units that were delivered previously, and their number reached 1178 units out of 4000 A housing unit, His Highness had signed an agreement to implement it between the Al-Bir Association in Sharqia and the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, with a total value of one billion and 300 million riyals.

His Highness also witnessed the signing of a number of development agreements for the association, which aim to develop the most needy families, provide university scholarships, opportunities for training and qualification for the labor market, and opportunities for development in all educational, sports and social fields. His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Region confirmed that the association is making great efforts to provide suitable housing for the beneficiary families and those most in need in integration with the various parties to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership “supported by God” to raise the percentage of citizens’ ownership of housing in general and those in need in particular in partnership with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing represented by developmental housing .

He noted the positive impact of the donors’ contribution to this project on the lives of families benefiting from the association’s services and the realization of the dream of many of them to own a home that guarantees them a decent life. Then His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province honored a number of supporters of the developmental housing program, the programs and activities of the association and the work team who contributed to the success of the plans and programs of the development association.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Society, Dr. Youssef Al-Rashed, praised the support of His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Region, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, and His Highness, his deputy, for the Society’s programs, stressing the Society’s keenness to provide safe housing for the most needy families in the region and to set scientific and objective standards that guarantee the delivery of units to those who deserve it and to provide financing, borrowing and payment channels, including Helps beneficiaries to meet their costs easily and easily.
He pointed out that the association continues to conclude partnership and cooperation agreements with private sector companies within the social responsibility of this sector, stating that the association signed today, under the auspices of His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Region, 6 development agreements, which include cooperation in the fields of education, training, employment, scientific and social research, educational and family studies, and other fields. .

It is noteworthy that His Highness, the Emir of the Eastern Region, handed over, last Ramadan, 576 housing units to families benefiting from the Al-Bir Association in the region.
