Border Guard: thwarting the smuggling of 88.2 tons of khat and 386 kilos of hashish

The official spokesman for the General Directorate of Border Guards, Colonel Misfer Al-Quraini, stated that the land patrols of the border guards in the regions of Najran, Jizan, Asir and Al-Sharqiya thwarted attempts to smuggle (88.2) tons of the narcotic khat plant, (386) kilograms of narcotic hashish and (276,460) controlled tablets. To organize the medical circulation, and arrested the participants in smuggling them, and completed the preliminary legal procedures against them, and handed them over and the contraband to the competent authority.
