122 billion riyals in foreign purchases in the first half

Foreign purchases in the main market of “Tadawul” amounted to 122.03 billion riyals in the first half of this year, compared to 186.31 billion riyals in the same period of 2022.

The value of flows during last June amounted to 1.91 billion riyals, compared to a net sale of 713.54 million riyals in the corresponding month of 2022.

The month of April was the highest in net inflows from foreigners by 3.6 billion riyals, but it decreased on an annual basis by 27.3%.

Total purchases by foreigners decreased by 34.5% year on year; And a decrease of 64.28 billion riyals from their total purchases in the same period last year.

Total foreign sales decreased by 24.6% in the first half of 2023 on an annual basis, to 114.4 billion riyals, compared to 151.81 billion riyals in the same period last year.
