Saudi Arabia’s education and defense ministries have signed an agreement aimed at approving equivalency of academic certificates issued by military colleges.
The academic certificates that will be equalized are those issued by the military colleges at the Ministry of Defense, in addition to the foreign military university certificates for scholarship students.
The agreement which was signed in the presence of Education Minister Yousef Al-Benyan stipulates the approval of the equivalence of the bachelor’s certificate in military sciences in all disciplines issued by military colleges under the Ministry of Defense with bachelor’s degrees issued by Saudi universities.
Additionally, it has included the equivalence of the master’s certificate in military science issued by the Command and Staff College with the master’s degree in the same discipline.
Moreover, a mechanism will be adopted for approving the equivalency of foreign military university certificates for the defense ministry’s scholarship students.
The agreement included the graduates of King Abdulaziz Military Academy, King Faisal Air Academy, King Fahad Naval Academy, and King Abdullah Air Defense College who obtain bachelor’s degrees in military sciences.
