Egyptian radio star Fadila Abdel Aziz, known as “Abla Fadila”, died Thursday, at the age of 94, in Canada.

The late, born on January 4, 1929, is the most famous of the children’s programs presented on the Egyptian radio.

Abla Fadela graduated from the Faculty of Law, but in 1953 she met the radio broadcaster “Baba Sharo”, whose real name was Muhammad Mahmoud Shaban, and expressed to him her wish to one day be a broadcaster for children.

Indeed, he helped her achieve her dream, and she was appointed to the radio station that was affiliated with the Ministry of Communications at the time. She started reading the newsletter, and after training and working for six years, she moved to work on television.
