The arrest of the thieves of Mohamed Salah’s villa in Egypt…and the announcement of the stolen list

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced, on Wednesday, that the perpetrators of the theft of the villa of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, had been arrested.

The ministry published a statement on its page on the social networking site “Facebook” in which it said: “The circumstances of what was reported to the security services in the Cairo Security Directorate on (12) March this year from the manager of a football player’s business that he discovered the theft of some of the contents of the villa of the aforementioned player located in one of the residential compounds. in New Cairo.

The statement added: “By conducting investigations and collecting information, and by tracking the itineraries, the security services were able to identify the perpetrators of the incident, and it was found that they were two people, one of whom had previously worked as a security person in the aforementioned residential complex, residing in Ismailia Governorate, and that the incident was committed on (2) March.”

And he continued: “After legalizing the procedures, they were caught and confronted with them, they confessed to having committed the incident, and one of them admitted that due to his previous work as a security officer in the same residential community and his knowledge that the villa was empty of its residents, he planned to commit the incident jointly with the second accused, as they climbed the back wall of the aforementioned villa, entered the house and committed the incident.”

All the stolen items were seized, a number of sports shoes, a silver medal, a piece of crystal, and a number of receivers. By summoning the informant, he identified the seized items and accused them of stealing.
It should be noted that Mohamed Salah’s villa in New Cairo had previously witnessed a gathering of a large number of fans in June 2018 in order to take memorial photos with him, which necessitated the intervention of the police to contain a situation and impose a security cordon until they succeeded in removing the audience from his home.
