Within a series of strange incidents, two monkeys were kidnapped from an American zoo

US police said two monkeys were kidnapped from the Dallas Zoo, in the latest in a series of strange incidents being investigated.

Dallas police said they believe someone cut a hole in the barrier and took away two “emperor tamarins,” monkeys with long whiskers that look like whiskers.

The incident comes on the heels of the zoo’s closing on January 13, and a day-long search when a tiger named ‘Nova’ went missing, which was later found.

Police said a tool was used to cut a hole in the fence, noting that the hole cut was similar to one in a monkey pen, although none got out.

On January 21, an endangered eagle named “Ben” was found dead, and the zoo said that the death did not seem natural, especially since the eagle had a “wound.”
