The Saudi young woman had fled to Germany as a result of being “harassed” by her father, while her story was recently buzzed after the artist and humanitarian activist, Fayez Al-Maliki, persuaded her to return to her country, where she was received by the Saudi embassy in Berlin before she changed her idea because of Fears from her family, as she had earlier canceled a scheduled return to her country with pledges to provide protection for her, after she said that she had received threats from her family, and had hinted a few days ago that she wanted to commit suicide in Germany, before she actually decided to return.

Last March, in the northern city of Arar, the Saudi police arrested a person, without mentioning his name, on charges of harassment, based on a published video clip, who was said to be Wissam’s father, according to several media sites.
