Arrested 78 people on charges of bribery, exploitation, money laundering and counterfeiting

The Anti-Corruption Commission in Saudi Arabia carried out 3,207 oversight rounds and investigated 116 suspects, including employees of the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Health, Justice, Education, Municipal and Rural Affairs, and Housing.

Nazaha revealed that 78 people were arrested, according to the Criminal Procedures Law, “including those who were released on bail for their involvement on charges of bribery, abuse of power, money laundering, and forgery.”

The authority called for “contribute to reporting any suspicions of financial or administrative corruption through the means of receiving communications, in order to protect and preserve public money.”
