A strange and rare incident in Egypt is happening for the second time

The city of Sherbeen in Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt, witnessed a strange and rare incident, where a pediatric consultant revealed that he witnessed a rare case of a newborn in her womb.

Dr. Ziad Ismail revealed the details of the case, saying: “The mother gave birth to her newborn yesterday afternoon, and she was in good condition, but several hours after the birth, the mother’s parents noticed something strange to her, and they said it could be swelling, and they came to the clinic, and after examining the newborn, I asked them to work. X-rays, and the surprise was that the newborn was carrying an incomplete fetus in her womb.

Dr. Ziad added: This case is the second case to be discovered in Egypt, and a case has already been registered at Ain Shams University, and it is one of the rare cases in the world.

Dr. Ziad continued: She asked to transfer the newborn to the Children’s Hospital to perform the necessary tests to perform the surgical operation to extract the fetus in her womb, and the health of the newborn was very natural.
