A giant screen fell on a singing group in Hong Kong

52

A giant screen fell and injured two dancers of the “Mirror” band, which was performing a concert Thursday evening in Hong Kong.

Videos circulating on social media showed the band’s members, Anson Lowe and Aidan Lowe, performing with dozens of dancers when one of the LED screens hanging on the stage shattered.

From the video, it appears that the screen hit one dancer on the head and body before turning on another person, while the audience was screaming in terror, while the rest of the performers rushed to the stage to help those who were injured.

Police said the two dancers were conscious when they were taken to hospital.

Local media reported that the hospital said that one of the dancers was in a serious condition, while the other was stable.
