Residents of a Russian village were surprised by the appearance of a polar bear that came to ask for help from humans to get rid of a metal can stuck in its mouth.
On the subject, Svetlana Radionova, head of the Russian Federal Service for the Supervision of Natural Resources, said: “A small polar bear carrying a metal can of condensed milk stuck in its mouth came to people in the village of Dixon, Krasnoyarsk Territory, asking for help. We need to rescue this animal, which is registered in the Red Book, which guarantees creatures.” Which is almost extinct…we urgently gathered to form a group to save the animal.”
The official added, “We are now in the process of solving the transportation problem, and to visit the can from the bear’s mouth, it must be anesthetized first, and we have given the necessary permits for this matter.”
Radionova indicated that the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources will take all necessary measures to save the animal.
