The US agency “NASA” postponed the flight of its “Viper” rover, which is a specialized robot designed to search for water on the moon’s surface.
The rover was scheduled to launch in November 2023, but it postponed the date to the same month in 2024, in order to allow the testing of the “Griffin” probe, which will transport the craft to the surface of the moon, according to NASA.

“Viper” is an essential part of NASA’s “Artemis” program, which aims to return humans to the moon, and the rover is designed to search for water ice, which is believed to be present on the moon’s surface, in order to determine how much water is there, As well as the degree of spread, and form.
NASA acquired the Viber rover through a company called Astrobotic, for $320.4 million.
