An American artist raises controversy by bringing her pet to the Louvre Museum in Paris

American artist Demi Moore has surprised the French by introducing her dog to the Louvre Museum in Paris, despite the museum’s strict policy towards taking animals into its galleries.

The 59-year-old Hollywood star posted pictures of her visit to the Paris exhibition on “Instagram”, and showed fans how she enjoyed seeing the Mona Lisa and her Chihuahua Pilaf.

“Pilaf toured the Louvre,” Moore wrote on the photo, which she shared with her 2.9 million followers.

The Louvre strictly forbids the entry of animals into the building, with the exception of guide dogs and accompanying assistance dogs for people with physical or mental disabilities.

Some comments came against Moore, with one person writing: “How in the world are you allowed to bring a dog to the Louvre?”

Another wrote, “Celebrities think the rules are not for them.” One follower wrote: “Sad when celebrities commit celebrity abuse and take their pets to places the general public can’t, the Louvre has a no-pet policy with animal service exempt.
