Activists on the communication sites circulated the story of an Australian young man who searched for a Syrian refugee, to apologize to him after he felt guilty for “breaking the heart” of the refugee in an unintended way.
The story goes back to the misunderstanding that occurred between the two parties when the Syrian refugee known as Sami Obeid delivered food to the home of the Australian young man, only to be surprised by the latter as he screamed hysterically from inside his house and demanded him to stay away from the door.
The young man, Mark Welsleep, published a video clip in which he apologized for the situation that happened, asking those who watched the video to help him find the Syrian, and that he was speaking to his dog, asking him to stay away from the door the moment the Syrian worker arrived, who delivered the order to the Australian.
The Australian young man, after reviewing the surveillance camera, realized the misunderstanding that had occurred. He felt sad to publish a video on Tik Tok announcing a search trip for the Syrian refugee to apologize to him, and he did what he wanted through his daughter to meet him personally and apologize to him for the situation.
As compensation, Mark launched a donation campaign on behalf of the Syrian refugee to realize his dream of buying a plane ticket to visit his family in France.
