Tesla cars add a new safety feature… Detecting potholes and broken pavements

237

Tesla electric cars have gained a new feature to ensure the safety and security of passengers, which is their ability to scan for potholes, broken pavements, as well as other road defects.
The new feature is available in the latest update of its software (2022.20), in the “S” and “X” models, which are equipped with an adaptive suspension system in cars, according to the “Electric” website.
The feature will contribute to the identification of “approximate road map” data, of the defects that the roads can contain for the driver of the car to avoid while driving.
The founder of Tesla, billionaire Elon Musk, hinted two years ago that this feature would reach his cars.
