3 young men have died during the past months, as a result of taking a new drug that has swept the dark internet, amid estimates that it is 1,000 times stronger than the analgesic drug morphine.
The British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that the three deaths occurred in the Birmingham region, central England.
Among them, two college students, Dylan Level 20, and Jacob Zniak, 19, died between October last year and January.
Dr. Judith Yalts, who analyzed the three deaths in Birmingham, said he was shocked to notice the effects of the opioids.
The strong drug is sold in the form of a blue pill, on the first side of which there is the letter M in English, and the number 30 on the other side.
This drug appears to be an alternative to the synthetic drug “Fentanyl”, but it is much stronger than it, as it can be purchased on the dark Internet and not on the streets, according to Dr. Yelts.
And the story began to unfold last October, when young Levell died, having been found dead in his home, after he had gone out the night before with two with his friends.
The forensic doctor’s report concluded that he died as a result of taking drugs, and said that the young man had taken a drug, which turned out to be much stronger than morphine.
The doctor, Mark Bucci, who treated one of the patients with this drug, said that studies conducted on animals show that the drug is 1000 times stronger than morphine.
He added that the drug consists of compounds that were developed in the fifties and sixties of the last century, as it began in China and then moved to Eastern Europe to Britain.
