Will Johnny Depp return to Pirates of the Caribbean?

79

A representative of Johnny Depp has denied rumors that Depp is returning to Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean series.

Rumors swirled that Depp was about to reprise the role of Captain Jack Sparrow after Australian news outlet PopTopic reported an alleged deal that would see the actor return to action for around $300 million.

A representative of Johnny Depp said that the existence of this deal was fabricated and untrue, and the possibility of Depp returning to the series was the subject of testimony he gave during the “defamation” trial between Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, and Depp was asked, “If Disney came to you with $ 300 million, would you come back?” To work with Disney? No, he answered, I will not return.

Depp was excluded from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean due to charges of domestic violence against him by his ex-wife.

Depp played Captain Jack Sparrow in five films, including the 2017 film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Two additional Pirates films are currently being produced, and many fans of the star would like to see him in the new parts, after he presented a distinguished character through which he managed to win everyone’s hearts.

A number of Deeb’s fans signed a petition on the Internet calling for him to return to the action championship, and more than 800,000 people around the world participated in the petition.
