US court approves Elon Musk’s son’s request to change his name and gender to officially become a girl

American media revealed that the Los Angeles Supreme Court has approved the request of the son of American billionaire Elon Musk, 18, to change his name and gender, to officially become a girl.
According to the “NBC News” network, the judge said in the ruling’s rationale that “due to the absence of objections, the petition for name change, recognition of the change of sex and the issuance of a new birth certificate were approved.”
Musk’s transgender daughter, Vivian Gina Wilson, had asked the court to change her name to match her new gender.
She added that she no longer wanted to be associated with her famous father “in any way”.
The cause of the dispute between Musk and his daughter was not immediately known.
Musk’s daughter had submitted a request to the court to change her name from Javier Musk to Vivian Gina Wilson, and Wilson is the last name of her mother, Justin Wilson, Musk’s ex-wife, whom he divorced in 2008.
Musk’s daughter and her mother have not responded to a request for comment so far, according to NBC News.
