A woman in America used the “Air Tag” device, which was introduced by the American company “Apple”, to track down and kill her boyfriend.
The Indiana woman tracked down her boyfriend using an Apple Air Tag and killed him over an alleged affair, according to USA Today.
The woman managed to get to her boyfriend’s location in a bar, where he was meeting another woman, and when she confronted him, the two parties got into an argument, and things quickly escalated, but after a short time the waiter asked them to leave the place.
After that, the woman got into her car and hit her boyfriend and then proceeded to run him over. She also tried to chase after the other woman he was having an affair with, but the police arrived and arrested her.
The woman’s friend breathed his last at the scene, while his girlfriend was later charged with attempted murder.
Over the past months, reports have increased about the use of the “Apple Air Tag” device in malicious ways, which prompted Apple to launch an application on the Google Play Store, “Tracker Detect”, which helps Android phone users to monitor their “Air Tag” devices. Tag” unwanted.
The Tracker Detect app helps users who do not own Apple devices track nearby Apple Air Tag, or other similar tracking tools, that may be traveling with them without their knowledge.

Some US states have also enacted laws prohibiting tracking using Air Tag devices.
