Solomon Chow, a Tesla shareholder, is suing entrepreneur Elon Musk, electric car company Tesla and its board of directors for encouraging discriminatory practices in the workplace.
The lawsuit against Musk alleges that Tesla has created a toxic workplace culture based on mistreatment and racial and sexual discrimination against its employees.
The lawsuit accused Tesla of creating a toxic work environment within the company over the years, which led to legal action by government officials.
The lawsuit cites in its accusations multiple instances of verbal abuse, racial and sexual discrimination, and harassment against Tesla employees.
For his part, the attorney general believes that Tesla’s “toxic workplace culture” has caused “financial damage” and “irreparable” damage to the company’s reputation at the expense of the company’s shareholders.
On Thursday, Bloomberg reported that Musk and his two companies, Tesla and SpaceX, have filed a joint lawsuit for $258 billion over allegations that they engineered an extortion scheme involving the use of the cryptocurrency Dogecoin.
Billionaire Elon Musk’s legal team wrote a letter to Twitter, threatening to abort the $44 billion takeover of the social media platform after it failed to meet his demands for more detailed information on the network’s policies.
Musk has criticized Twitter’s claims that less than 5% of monetized daily active users were bots or fraudsters, and last month warned that his takeover was “on hold” until more information was obtained, the Financial Times reported.
