The first 3D pedestrian crossing appears in northwest Moscow

67

The first 3D pedestrian crossing has appeared on the sidewalk at the main entrance to the North River Station in the Levoberezny district of Moscow. This was reported by the Telegram channel “My District”.

According to the reactions of users of social networks, the volumetric signs scare drivers more than they impress pedestrians.

Turning urban details into artistic objects is a truly unusual and rare move. But why not, if the experiment has already succeeded in the end, and the main thing is pedestrian safety, because deaths on Russian roads are still a big problem in big cities.

The channel indicated that the creation of 3D pedestrian signs was agreed with the Traffic Management Center in Moscow.

The artists of the organization “Mosgraffiti” Nikolai Veselov and Artyom Ponomarev designed the “zebra” hovering in the air.
