The star of the trial .. Who is the savior of Johnny Depp?

After a jury announced its verdict in the defamation case related to actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, “Pirates of the Caribbean” lawyer Camille Vasquez stole the spotlight, saying, “We won.”

Vasquez, 38, represented Depp alongside attorney Ben Chiu, as she successfully demonstrated her professional experience during court sessions, before the jury and the judge.

Observers indicated that Vasquez was distinguished during the trial by her good use of communication skills and “etiquette”, as well as her tone of speech and her professional style in speaking before the judge.
According to a report by the British newspaper “Express”, Vasquez was sued by the international legal firm “Brown Rudnick”, and has experience in defamation lawsuits and contract disputes.

Vasquez holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, as well as a Juris Doctor from Southwestern College of Law, which is accredited by the American Bar Association.
The court awarded Depp $10 million in a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife, Heard, and acquitted him, citing its decision that Heard made up allegations that Depp had abused her before and during their short marriage.

The jury also found that Heard had been defamed by Depp’s lawyer, who accused her of orchestrating an elaborate hoax that included scattering the contents of their apartment to make it look worse for the police, and awarded Heard $2 million in damages.

Vazquez appeared in front of the media after the court’s decision, saying: “Today’s ruling confirms what we have said from the beginning that the allegations against Johnny Depp are defamatory and not supported by any evidence.”

“We are very grateful to the jury for their careful deliberation. We are grateful to the judge and court staff who have devoted an incredible amount of time and resources to this case.”

Social media pioneers circulated pictures of Vasquez after the ruling, describing her as the “star of the trial.”
