Social media users circulated a video of Elissa during her speech at the conference to launch the “Bridges” initiative in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Committee for Western Asia “ESCWA”, held in Jordan. She said “potato” instead of “unemployment”, but she quickly reformed the word.
Elissa explained jokingly with the present audience that her “slip of the tongue” will become the talk of social media, so that the audience laughs and applauds her.

Elisa’s “slip of the tongue” was ridiculed by many users of social networking sites, as some explained that the Lebanese artist was feeling hungry at that time, while another user wrote jokingly: “Indeed, unemployment and potatoes are one, because potatoes are as big as unemployment in The Arab world, but you are sweet.
