Today, Tuesday, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held talks with Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II on ways to strengthen relations between their two countries.
This came during a meeting between them at Windsor Castle in the British capital, London, according to a statement by the Qatari Emiri Diwan.
During the meeting, the two sides dealt with the “historic friendship relations between the two friendly countries and peoples and the prospects for enhancing them.”

The Emir of Qatar also exchanged with the Queen of Britain views on a set of issues of common interest.
Earlier today, the Emir of Qatar arrived in the British capital as part of a European tour that began in the middle of this month, which includes Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Britain, France and Switzerland.
