The Indian police detained the husband of the Indian actress after accusations against him of domestic violence, especially after a series of quarrels between them.

The policemen told the media that Sahana married Sajjad about a year and a half ago, and her family claims that Sajjad was behind her murder because of his frequent demands for money and his addiction to alcohol.

Indian websites reported that a quarrel occurred between the spouses over checks received by the late actress from a fashion house, and her case is still under investigation.
