British supermarket network John Lewis has announced that a bundle of Queen Elizabeth II Barbies sold out in just a few seconds.
According to a report in the Guardian, John Lewis confirmed that all the dolls were sold at a value of 95 pounds each in just three seconds since they went on sale.
The dolls were produced to mark the 70th anniversary of Elizabeth II’s accession to the British throne.
The Guardian noted that many eBay sellers are now hoping to sell these dolls at least twice their original value.
Meanwhile, Barbie maker Mattel has hinted at the possibility of producing more of the dolls ahead of official celebrations marking the start of Queen Elizabeth’s reign next month.
