“Aquaman” star Amber Heard told a jury Monday that ex-husband Johnny Depp smashed her into a wall and wrapped a T-shirt around her neck during their 2015 honeymoon on the Orient Express.

Heard returned to the witness stand in Virginia, where the jury is considering the two defamation lawsuits, which the former couple brought against each other.

The couple married in February 2015 and spent their honeymoon on the Orient Express in July of that year, after Depp finished filming the fifth part of the Pirates of the Caribbean films series, in which he was the hero.

In response to a question from her lawyer, Heard said he and Depp had an argument over whether he could drink alcohol during the flight. She added that their relationship was dominated by love when Depp was conscious, but he often acted violently when he drank alcohol or used drugs.

Heard said he slapped her in the face and smashed her against the wall repeatedly in the dormitory on the train. She told the jury that he took off his shirt and wrapped it around her neck.

She continued, “This is how I woke up the next morning. I woke up with the shirt still around my neck and there was a huge swelling in the back of my head.”

Depp testified earlier, that he had never hit Heard and said that she was the one who resorted to violence in their relationship.

Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, in a $50 million defamation suit, saying she tarnished his reputation when she claimed she was a victim of domestic violence.

In return, Heard filed a counter-lawsuit asking for $100 million, saying Depp distorted her reputation by calling her a liar.

In his testimony, Depp said that Heard once threw a wine bottle at him, wounding the middle finger of his right hand. Heard denied injuring Depp’s finger, and said she only hit him to defend herself or her sister.

Today, Monday, she also denied Depp’s allegations that she defeated on a bed in one of his homes after a fight on her thirtieth birthday.
