Russian TV series wins award at Argentine film festival

The Russian TV series Five Plus, produced by the Russian social network “Odnoklassniki”, won the Argentine BUEIFF Web Series Award for Best Television Editing.

The sitcom tells the story of a young man and woman who decide to save money for the upcoming wedding and rent two rooms in their apartment.

The first episode of the series will be available to viewers in Buenos Aires on June 30, knowing that its first show was achieved in Russia in March 2021. Since then, the series has gained more than 59 million views on the Internet.

The series stars Artyom Tsukanov, who plays the young man (Stas), and Lukeria Ilyashenko, who plays the young woman (Olga).

It is noteworthy that the other Russian Internet series “Natural Selection” directed by the Russian, Krill Alyokhin, won the award at the Argentine BUEIFF Web Series Festival for the best female role, and the award was won by the Russian actress, Maria Kopetova.
