Twitter is currently testing a new feature that will allow users to remove themselves from conversations
Thanks to the feature, Twitter users will be able to delete the mention of their “Mention” account within a conversation that has gone off track, or find themselves engaging in it against their will.
When the feature is activated, the user will stop receiving any future signals in that conversation and, perhaps most importantly, will stop the notifications.
Yesterday, Thursday, one of the documented Twitter accounts published an animated GIF illustrating the upcoming feature, which he stressed would be “a way to help users protect their safety and distance themselves from conversations.”
How do you say “Don’t @ me,” without saying “Don’t @ me”?
